Maven is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT Team in the New York City office. This position will monitor, maintain, and support Maven’s computer systems, applications, and network. You will assist with the day-to-day support and operations of the Maven user base. As an IT Engineer at Maven, your core responsibilities include: Spend approximately: One third of your time maintaining existing IT infrastructure and supporting Maven’s employees One third of your time onboarding and offboarding new and former employees and contractors as Maven continues to grow One third of your time working with the internal IT team on new initiatives and projects Support products such as Google Workspaces, Jamf, Sophos, and our managed fleet of macOS devices Test and roll out new pieces of technology, like operating system upgrades, software updates, security and configuration changes Manage and configure hardware for onboarding users Maintain asset inventory in Jamf and Freshservice Provide first-level technical support to our internal users We’re looking for someone to bring core capabilities to our team: 3+ years of experience in an IT support/engineering role Experience using Google Workspaces products (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc) and administration Experience with Jamf software and Apple device management Using Jamf to create packages, deploy applications Experience with deploying MacOS upgrades/updates Overall application packaging and testing experience MacOS support experience Knowledge of security products and concepts (anti-malware, anti-spam, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Helpful experiences and backgrounds: Technical education/degree, or equivalent working experience a plus Shell scripting for MacOS Experience using asset management tools like Freshservice or equivalent Jamf automated device enrollment or equivalent Benefits & Perks: Maven employees are united in their quest to improve the health and well-being of women and their families in our community.
