We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding and experience of research and development in MRI to join our growing Imaging Solutions team as an Imaging Solutions Scientist.
You will be central to the development of Perspectum's imaging services, both for clinical diagnostic and pharmaceutical customers, supporting the team in providing strategic imaging solutions for our imaging methods and devices, as well as new project designs (Research/Clinical/Pharma), and imaging quality assurance in new and existing offerings.
As an Imaging Solutions Scientist, you will be tasked with ensuring imaging problems are seen through to solution, including guidance and product updates. You'll support product development and research by standardising new offerings across supported platforms, working with project managers and innovation scientists to design imaging protocol and ensure these protocols support our full range of scanners, including new models. You'll be involved with planning product testing both in vitro and in vivo and lead the imaging acquisitions for it as well as designing, leading and performing phantom analysis for product developments.
You will design, implement and maintain the necessary tools for imaging site and product performance quality assurance and provide continuous technical quality checks on all site activations performed by Imaging Services, including audit implementation of imaging protocols across different imaging sites. Document, follow-up and salvage incoherent imaging protocols. You'll provide the necessary tools, documentation, information and training to service teams for new projects/studies including acquisition manuals and protocol definitions. Ensuring the company has the tools and robust support systems to maximize the number of supported scanners and imaging sites along with capturing the knowledge gained during activations is an important aspect of this role.
To be successful in this role you'll be educated to at least degree level in a relevant health science, life science or engineering discipline. You'll have demonstrable experience in performing scans on at least one of the three main MRI Manufacturers (GE, Phillips or Siemens). You'll also be fluent in a coding language, preferably MATLAB. Excellent communication and networking skills, attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
