Oyster Point Pharma, Inc. (OYST: Nasdaq) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of first-in-class pharmaceutical therapies to treat ocular surface diseases. This is an exciting time to join Oyster Point as it prepares to transition from a clinical stage company to a commercial enterprise. SUMMARY: The Eye Care Territory Manager is a field-based sales position with responsibility for promotion of approved products within a defined sales territory. The Eye Care Territory Manager is accountable for field activities, including educating Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, and key staff members on approved products. The Eye Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving Sales goals, adherence to compliance standards, and effectively implementing strategic initiatives at a territory level. Primary Responsibilities: Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision & culture of Oyster Point to the Eye Care community Appropriately leverages expertise of disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts Achieves business goals on a quarterly & annual basis. Effectively drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards Works collaboratively with all internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients Demonstrates Company culture norms daily through customer interactions, collaboration with internal partners, and a willingness to support others across the organization Effectively utilizes territory business planning tools to help uncover additional business opportunities Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times Required Skills: Exceptional clinical selling skills and demonstrated proficiency in offering customer-based solutions Effective decision making, problem-solving, and a strategic mindset Ability to enhance team culture through personal accountability, a results-focused mindset, while working collaboratively in a team environment to drive business objectives Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with and understand a diverse customer base Demonstrate leadership and collaboration with internal partners, sharing best practices and market insights when appropriate Strong business planning skills, with the ability to execute and uncover appropriate business opportunities Other Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is required A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed. Depending on the territory, overnight travel may be needed 2+ years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience with a proven and successful track record in all aspects of technical knowledge, selling techniques, and comprehensive understanding of medical terminology Attends all company-sponsored meetings. May be required to work conferences and educational programs during evenings and weekends Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases
