We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee the financial and accounting operations of the Company. Duties include managing internal controls, setting financial targets, engaging with investors, developing financial strategy, monitoring expenditures and cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Contribute to the development of company strategy; provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
Effectively manage debt, forecasts, audits, budgets and tax functions
Ensure that the Company financial systems are compliant and support current activities and future growth
Analyze complex data and report on financial performance
Regularly interact and present to board of directors
Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with investors, board members, clients and advisors
Lead and develop finance/accounting staff
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Master’s degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible finance experience in the Life Sciences Industry is required
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate others
Ability to work closely with senior management and Board of Directors
