This position is customer-facing in our Desktop Support team, whose responsibilities include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstations, printers, and network infrastructure. Candidate needs to have great customer service skills as they’ll be working directly with end users via tickets, chat, phone, and in person.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist users with desktop and laptop issues including support for network connectivity, printering, software, and phones
Provides onboarding and offboarding support
Perform routine network and PC installations, and troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve any related problems
Provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts across on-premises and SaaS infrastructure
Documentation of new policies and procedures in Confluence and maintaining existing documentation
Focus on attending ticketing system and prioritizing service requests
Be the primary point of contact for personnel with any IT question or request
Train personnel on how to best use the different systems and tools
Assisting in project implementation and troubleshooting
Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
1 – 3 years of IT experience
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience with managing and troubleshooting issues with Windows 10 and macOS is required
Experience managing and maintaining AzureAD, Microsoft365, and GSuite
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and operating system issues, specifically Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 or higher
Experience maintaining label printers, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
Experience in troubleshooting network issues
Experience with automating tasks through scripting, including PowerShell experience, is a plus
Familiarity with computer provisioning, preferably Microsoft SCCM, Autopilot, and Jamf
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with MFA and MAM is a plus
Experience with Jira ticketing system is a plus
Certification preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Foundational level, etc.
Experience in healthcare sector is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
