Job Description

We are looking for a CQC Registered Manager to support our Diagnostics Unit as part of our Clinical Affairs Department. As Registered Manager you will support our Clinical Affairs team in effectively managing Perspectum’s clinical governance pertaining to its Clinical Facility, ensuring that all activities are compliant with applicable standards and regulations, as well as company strategies. The Clinical Facility is the collective term for both the Clinical Unit and Mobile MRI Scanner, the latter of which is provided by Alliance Medical. This is located at Perspectum’s Headquarters on the Oxford Business Park. It has a dual function: as a Care Quality Commission (CQC) Clinical Service and as a Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). Perspectum gained its CQC license in early 2021 - the clinical service is in its infancy with much scope for further development and growth. You will lead on its progress ensuring that it remains compliant to all applicable regulations and legislation, and that it strives for excellence and remains a safe environment for participants/patients. You will therefore be responsible for leading, managing, developing and growing the Clinical Facility such that it meets and exceeds internal targets, as well as building an external network of collaborating referring clinicians. Regular multi-disciplinary team meetings will be organised to support an efficient and streamlined service, as well as fostering an environment where our staff are well supported and equipped to deliver an exemplary service with a high standard of care to all customers. To be successful in this role you will be hold a graduate qualification in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences and pass an Enhanced disclosure from the DBS (which Perspectum will facilitate). You will have demonstrative managerial experience in a CQC-licensed clinical environment and/or clinical facility (diagnostic/out-patient clinic) with extensive knowledge of CQC requirements. Your skills will include excellent written and verbal communication, IT (such as MS Office), organisational and prioritisation. You will have the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently. Ideally, but not essentially you will be a qualified/registered clinician, have sound knowledge of QSI (Quality Standard for Imaging) as well as knowledge of medical device quality systems regulations, certified standards and guidelines. This role is a part time 2-3 days a week role based at our HQ on the Oxford Business Park in Oxford.
