Job Description

Zebra has set out on a mission to help hundreds of millions of people receive access to fast, accurate medical diagnosis, by teaching computers to read and diagnose medical imaging data. Zebra Medical vision is revolutionizing healthcare by creating an AI-based radiologist. Our product is a scalable analytic engine, which uses deep learning algorithms to detect anomalies in medical images, at global scale. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will have the primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. Support the company’s transition from a research phase to a customer-centric, market-oriented growth phase partnering with the company’s executive leadership team. Enable Zebra to become a commercially focused and customer-centric company while being responsible for Zebra’s financial and operations related activities including management of budget, forecasting and overall decisioning process. In addition, serve as partner to CEO with respect to all financing activities and ongoing engagement with the company’s board of directors. Requirements Strong leadership and organizational skills Comfortable in a less structured, fast paced, start-up environment Proven experience as a CFO (minimum of 6 years) in a growing a global SaaS and/or medical device company company. 14+ years total accounting or finance experience Proven experience with mergers and acquisitions and fund raising Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance and SEC reporting. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership, team-play and people skills. Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence – ability to motivate staff. Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues Solid understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues and tax planning In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Ability to strategize and solve problems with love for the details Solid experience in pricing, bundling and contracting In depth understanding and know-how of financial dashboards and metrics Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills Wide international experience. Willingness to travel Passionate about being part of a team growing the company together Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA preferred. CPA Required. Background in Big 4 Public Accounting preferred Responsibilities Act as business partner to CEO and senior executive leadership team. Communicate, engage and interact as needed with Board of Directors Assess and evaluate financial performance of the company with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion. Design and follow financial metrics and dashboard to enable data driven decisions in real time. Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget and weekly cash flow reporting Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization Be a leading force in all Fundraising and M&A process. Support the company’s fundraising planning and execution. Oversee cash, investments and asset management area. Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team
